Wow, Maximus chilling so hard on the free at the end of the IM, as well as stroke rate on backstroke. 1:40 tonight?

Nick Rounds in the 50 free…I’ve never seen someone move so much prior to a start and not get DQ’d (and an outside lane at that). Looked like rolling start. Seems like the officials are overly concerned with keeping breakneck pace between heats and are missing things.

for the women’s 200 IM records, this doesn’t make sense

  • West Record: 1:52.73 – Bella Sims (2022)
  • Meet Record: 1:52.21 – Katie Grimes (2022)

Grimes and Sims both competed in West?

I’m also confused at that because I’m pretty sure Grimes was 16 in 2022 so wouldn’t that time be a NAG?

To add to the mystery, Katie didn’t swim the 200 IM in 2022. Dun dun dun.

also from what I remember, Bella’s time was the fastest from any high school age swimmer ever so I’m not sure who that 1:52.21 is supposed to be from
