The 2022 Queensland Preparation Meet #2 is set for this weekend, with the action kicking off at the Brisbane Aquatic Center Saturday, November 12th. The two-day affair is designed to provide qualification opportunities for swimmers leading up to the Queensland Championships which are slated for mid-December.

This competition also gives a chance for several key Aussie competitors to get additional racing logged before the 2022 FINA Short Course World Championships.

Although some high-profile names to the tune of Kyle Chalmers, Cate Campbell and Emma McKeon are missing from the draft entries, there is still plenty of talent to make this competition a must-watch.

For the men, Cameron McEvoy, Cody Simpson, David Morgan, Zac Incerti, Mac Horton, Joshua Edwards-Smith and Brendon Smith lead the charge.

On the women’s side, Kaylee McKeown, Jenna Strauch, Lani Pallister are among the stars taking to the pool.

You can refresh your memory on the 2022 Queensland Preparation Meet #1 which took place last month, with Simpson, McEvoy and McKeown among the winners.

Seems Incerti has moved to USC (back with Palfery). I also noticed recently that Lizzy Dekkers moved to Chandler.
