Bryant’s Erin Doruska Named NEC Swimming Scholar Athlete of the Year

SOMERSET, N.J.- Junior Erin Doruska of the Bryant swimming and diving team has been named NEC women’s swimming and diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Doruska has maintained a 4.0 GPA as an accounting major while earning three medals at this year’s NEC Championships.

An NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection each of her first two years, Doruska was part of the silver medal winning 200 free and 400 free relay teams at the NEC Championships and earned an individual silver medal in the 200 free. She scored a total of 42 points to help lead Bryant to a fifth straight NEC title.

She actually earned 4 medals at the NEC championship! 3 relays, 1 individual. 200, 400, & 800 free relay and 200 free.
