ISL 2021 Matches Will Stream on CBC in Canada

While details about global streaming have been in short supply, the CBC announced on Wednesday that they would host a live stream of the event that will be free to Canadians.

That includes Match 1, held Thursday and Friday of this week, beginning at 1:45PM Toronto time.

That match will featured Toronto Titans, Aqua Centurions, Energy Standard, and DC Trident. The Titans are the Canadian roster that includes most of the big name Canucks, like, Kylie Masse, Tessa Ciepluca, Kelsey Wog, Kayla Sanchez, Summer McIntosh, Brent Hayden, Cole Pratt, Finlay Knox and Yuri Kisil.

Other Canadians in action in Match 1 include: Mary-Sophie Harvey (Energy Standard) and Bailey Andison (DC Trident) and Rachel Nicol (DC Trident).

Later in the season, Katerine Savard will race for the defending league champion Cali Condors, Sydney Pickrem will race for London Roar, Ingrid Wilm and Javier Acevedo will race for LA Current, and Kierra Smith will race for IRON.

The streaming will be available both on the web, above, for users in Canada, and on the CBC Sports app.

Broadcast details for ISL 2021 have only been announced for 3 countries. Sky Italia will be the host-nation broadcaster in Italy, while CBS will carry some matches in the United States across its platforms.

For all other countries, and all other matches in the above countries, so far, the only option available is to purchase a subscription on the ISL website. $27 will get access to the full season, while smaller packages are also available.

ISL Streaming Subscription Costs in Canada:

  • Full season – $45
  • Regular Season Only – $31.00
  • Playoffs Only – $32.60
  • Single Regular Season Match – $4.00
  • Single Play-Off Match – $6.00
  • Final Match – $10.00

Costs vary by country.

The league was unable to confirm if all ISL matches would be live-streamed in Canada, or if just some matches would be. We will update with more information as it becomes available.
