Emma McKeon’s 100 free not 50 free was an Oceanian Record. Both her races were Olympic records but Cate has been 23.78.

just watched nbc’s coverage of the w100 free. rowdy was saying how mckeon’s finish was much better than her 100 fly finish, where she “faded badly at end and missed the gold” when in reality, she turned in 4th, 0.45 behind zhang yufei, then had the second fastest last 50 in the field and was only 0.13 off gold at the end. her finish was actually what got her the bronze since she only overtook huske on the last stroke. rowdy is absolutely clueless

I was surprised on Brett Hawke’s podcast that he defended Rowdy.I just don’t get it. Can someone just tell him his errors are too numerous too mention? I’d be sacked if I was wrong that often

Emma having a better finish than Torri is literally one of the reasons 7 of our women got gold medals
