He is still the coolest dude in swimming.

That’s why i still don’t understand why he is not more focused on the start , just the start and mainly the start . Once in the water, he is just great …He had one year to notice where his main weakness is and still doesn’t start well at all . I still wish to see him start quick and get to 21.5 this summer . He has the best times to do yet …

He needs to go faster than 21.5 to try to medal.. I would predict that Adrian/Cielo/Manadou can go 21.3 or even break this barrier if they are 100%

With training on his start , Anthony could be close to the 21.7/ 21.6 this summer and surely be in that 50 free final in Barcelona . Just the start Anthony , just that !!! Because on the water , he is very effective with this unique high stroke .

Ervin had a horrendous start in London (he was twitching and didn’t get fully set) and still pulled out a 21.7 high. He will need to work on that but if he gets that down, I think his best times are ahead of him. Now surprisingly, the 50 free is pretty deep in the US so making the team will be hard, especially if Adrian is on top of his game.

I was at the meet and watching his start for this very same reason. The starter didn’t hold the swimmers long and he was still getting set again when they sent off the swimmers. He was basically last or close to it off the blocks.
