IHSAA Sectional 100 Free Champ Grace Lough Commits to Bellarmine University

Grace Lough, a current high school senior from Indianapolis, Indiana, has committed to swim for NCAA Division II Bellarmine University. Lough will graduate from North Central High School in spring 2020 and join the Knights’ class of 2024.

Lough is a current year-round swimmer for her club team, Washington Township Swim Club along with swimming for her high school at North Central.

This past year at the 2019 Illinois High School Sectional Championships, Lough was the women’s champion in the 100 freestyle (52.63) and placed 3^rd in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.39).

With her current best times, Lough would have placed 14^th in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.27) and 15^th in the 100 freestyle (52.63) with the Knights at the 2020 GLVC Swimming and Diving Championships.

At the GLVC Championships this year, the Knights placed 6^th as a team. This summer, they will begin their transition from a DII team to a DI team in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Lough will begin her swimming career at Bellarmine University beginning fall 2020.
