We received this swim video from Eddie Carnes, a 13-year “recently” retired swimmer. Eddie works with La Salle University’s athletics office, and he covers swimming and diving for the school. The video he produced was posted to their website, Goexplorers.com, covering the swim team’s training trip to Puerto Rico earlier this month. It’s a very unique perspective into the sport and worth sharing if you’re into swimming.
Thanks Eddie, and keep the swim videos coming!
From their youtube account:
The La Salle University Swimming and Diving team travelled to Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on January 2-10 in preparation for the 2013 Atlantic 10 Championship. La Salle Athletics brings to you a unique perspective from in the pool and off the boards as the Explorers endure grueling two-a-day workouts. Shot almost entirely using the GoPro Hero 3.

If you have an interesting or beautiful swimming-related video and/or animated short, please submit to Gold Medal Mel Stewart at swimswam to be featured. We appreciate all points of view on pools, lakes, rivers and oceans. Please include a little background on why you captured the video and the equipment you used (cameras, lens, editing software, etc.).
