The IUPUI divers had one of the best nights of the season with senior Patrick Tener setting a school record on the 1-meter springboard. Tener scored 371.90 points, besting Bryce Cox’s score of 335.33 set back in 2003.
In the women’s competition, both Carolyn Dietz and Rylee Dahlman earned scores that qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships. Both scores for each diver were season bests and Dietz scored a personal best 272.20 on the 1-meter.
In the pool, IUPUI dominated the Musketeers, winning almost every event as they prepare for the Horizon League Championships on Feb. 19-22.
“What a great night to close out our dual meet session and to honor our seniors,” said head coach Damion Dennis. “We had numerous in-season bests, lifetime bests, broke a school record and won nearly every event. We have put ourselves in a great place for the upcoming conference championships.
