Iowa held on to their lead throughout the remainder of the dual. With all events taken into account, Iowa State accumulated seven season-best times.

“I thought out team really competed hard today,” said head coach Duane Sorenson. “We had a lot of outstanding swims and a number of personal bests were turned in. Iowa is just a little bit stronger on the last length and the number of races. I thought we really took them on and raced the hardest we could today. We’ve got things to work on but it was a good way to end the first semester.”

ON DECK- Winter Training Trip/Tennessee Diving Invite

Following the Iowa dual, the swimmers head to Florida for their annual training trip at the end of December. The divers travel to Tennessee for their training trip and to take part in the Tennessee Invite.
