Wabash’s Sheridan Tabbed as NCAC Swimmer of the Week

Wabash College junior Kevin Sheridan has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Little Giants’ home victory Friday night over Illinois Wesleyan University.

Sheridan won two individual events and was part of a winning relay for Wabash. He earned a victory in the 200-yard butterfly by finishing in 1:55.92 then added a second victory with the top time in the 500 freestyle at 4:47.17. Sheridan turned in a personal-best time of 22.23 swimming the leadoff leg of the Little Giants’ winning 200-yard freestyle relay. The quartet of Sheridan, Joshua Powers, Ben Klimczak, and Jan Dziadek combined to win the race with a time of 1:29.93.
