The Crippen family has released information about when and where Fran Crippen’s funeral services will be held. The viewing will be held on Saturday, October 30 at 8:30 A.M. with a mass to follow at 10:30. Given Fran’s popularity and belovedness both within the swimming community and the Philadelphia community as a whole, expect long lines.

The family has also requested, via Fran’s official website, that donations be made instead of flowers into a newly formed foundation called “The Fran Crippen Elevation Foundation,” a new foundation that was set up in his honor.
