Tomomi Aoki is a competitive swimmer that represents Japan internationally.
International Competition
2016 Olympic Games
In Rio, Aoki swam on Japan’s 4×200 free relay, which advanced to the final heat and finished in 8th overall.
2017 World Championships
In Budapest, Aoki swam on the 4×200 free relay, which qualified as the 2nd seed heading into finals. In the final heat, Japan placed 5th overall, but did break a new national record. She also swam on the 4×100 free relay, which placed 7th in the final heat.
2018 Pan Pacific Championships
In Tokyo, Aoki anchored both the 4×100 medley and 4×100 mixed medley relays to bronze and silver medals, her first international hardware. The relays also broke national records, and an Asian record for the mixed relay. She also swam on the 4th place 4×100 free relay.
2018 Asian Games
Aoki earned more relay medals in Jakarta, aiding both the 4×100 medley and free relays to gold, as well as new games and national records. She also swam on the silver medal 4×100 mixed medley relay and in individually in the 100 free, where she touched for 4th (54.58) overall.
