The Nebraska swim and dive team defeated the Omaha Mavericks 189-103 in their first road meet of 2018.
The Big Red opened the meet strong with a sweep of the top three in the 400-yard medley relay, followed by freshmen Rachel Powers and Madison Coughlen taking first (10:32.57) and second in the 1000-yard freestyle relay (10:36.41), respectively.
Team captain Kaylyn Flatt found a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.35), and Carla Gonzalez-Garcia finished third (1:57.20).
The Huskers rounded out the top three positions in the 100-yard backstroke with Lindsay Helferich (57.68), Tori Beeler(57.81) and Jessica Pentlarge (58.57), respectively.
In the 100-yard backstroke, Gwen Worlton took first (1:05.22), followed by team captain Jordan Ehly for second (1:06.87).
The Huskers owned the top three in the 200-yard butterfly with freshman Izzie Murray in first (2:07.97), Lindsey Stalheim in second (2:11.97) and Anna McDonald in third (2:12.88).
Freshman standout Autumn Haebig secured a second-place win for the Huskers in the 50-yard freestyle.
On the diving front, All-American Abi Knapton took first in the three-meter dive event (331.20), followed by Katrina Voge for second (264.83).
The duo also took first (295.04) and second (249.23) in the one-meter dive event, respectively.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Pentlarge took first (53.38) and Rachel Morrow took second (54.08).
Haebig took first in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.18).
Flatt found her second first-place finish of the day (5:06.50).
In the 100-yard butterfly, Dana Posthuma (57.86)
McDonald finished the meet for the Huskers with a first-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.40).
With this victory, the Big Red will advance to 3-2 on the dual season. The team will return to the Devaney Natatorium on Jan. 20 to host Illinois at 11:00 a.m.
