#7 Texas A&M Conclude Season With Dual Meets Against SMU, LSU

The No. 7-ranked Texas A&M women’s swimming and diving team will close out the regular season portion of its 2016-17 schedule with a pair of dual meets against rivals Southern Methodist and LSU this weekend.

The Aggies will host SMU at 3 p.m. on Friday and then take on LSU on Senior Day at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Being honored prior to Saturday’s competition will be eight seniors:

This weekend’s matchups will be the final tune-ups before the Aggies begin their defense of the 2016 Southeastern Conference team crown at the 2017 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships Feb. 14-18 in Knoxville, Tenn\.

The Aggies are coming off solid performances last week against North Texas and at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Austin. The Aggies swept all 16 races against the Mean Green and earned 12 spots in Championship finals in the Arena Pro Swim Series.
