Madison Kelly Verbally Commits to Saint Louis Billikens

Madison Kelly of Rockville, Maryland has made a verbal commitment to swim at Saint Louis University in 2017-18. Kelly is a senior at Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, Maryland, where she is captain of the swim team. Kelly has secured top-three finishes at Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swimming & Diving League (WMPSSDL) Championships, and has been a finalist at Washington Metropolitan Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championships, in each of the last three years.

Kelly swims year-round for Rockville Montgomery Swim Club. A versatile freestyler/backstroker, she competed in the 50/200 backstroke events and time-trialed the 100/200 freestyles at NCSA Spring Championships. At 2016 Long Course Senior Zone Championships this summer, Kelly swam the 200/400m free and 100/200m back and earned PBs in both freestyles and the 100 back.

Her best SCY times include:

  • 200 back – 2:05.08
  • 100 back – 1:00.10
  • 500 free – 5:10.48
  • 200 free – 1:55.78
  • 400 IM – 4:41.91
