WISCA Polls: Arrowhead Charges to #1 Spot in Division 1 Rankings

Defending D1 Wisconsin state champions Arrowhead, who had yet to rank atop D1 standings, have shot up to the #1 spot.

Arrowhead recently won the Classic 8 conference title, finishing ahead of Waukesha South-Mukwonago. The latter team, meanwhile, has jumped up seven spots to claim #4 this week. Strong conference performances from both teams have earned them prime rankings on this week’s polls.

Division 2 hasn’t had nearly as much shakeup as Division 1, though. New Berlin Eisenhower did jump two spots to take #3 behind Madison Edgewood and McFarland, while Whitefish Bay moved up 1 spot to take #7.

We’re now less than three weeks from state championships. The Division 2 meet is set for November 11th, with the Division 1 meet taking place the next day on November 12th. More info on the state meets here.
