Mount St. Mary’s Announce Incoming Class

Emmitsburg, Md. (August 29, 2016) — Mount St. Mary’s University swimming & diving Head Coach Neil Yost has announced the freshmen classes for the men’s and women’s squads for the 2016-17 season.

Brock Cudahy (Manassas, Va.), Matt Hart (Haddon Township, N.J.), Vincent Huang (San Ramon, Calif.), Andrew Quinan (Manassas, Va.), Michael Rebarchak (Harrisburg, Pa.), Liam Taylor (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), Will Twizell (Adelaide, Australia) and Matt Wehmeyer (Point Pleasant, N.J.) make up the men’s freshmen class for the inaugural season of Mount St. Mary’s men’s swimming & diving. The eight freshmen join sophomores Eiann Bulatao (Reisterstown, Md.) and Michael Kenney (Livonia, Mich.) and juniors Roland Edge (Mechanicsville, Md.) and Aidan McCormick (Yorktown, Va.) on the roster for the first season in school history.

On the women’s side, the Mountaineers bring in freshmen Victoria Aung (Springfield, Va.), Maggie deTar (Post Falls, Idaho), Peyton Fuller (Ellicott City, Md.), Shannon McCloskey (Earleville, Md.), Brianna Rizzo (Pequannock, N.J.) and Colette Robinson (Hershey, Pa.). Fuller will be the team’s first diver in program history after the Mount added diving prior to the start of the school year.

“We are really excited to announce not only another strong incoming group of women for the fall of 2016, but also our first class of men,” said Yost. “All of these first-year athletes display the hard work, determination, and grit that we look for in Mount students. These qualities have already carried them to success in the classroom and the pool, and will continue to do so through their time with us and beyond.”

“There was some doubt thrown our way when we announced the addition of the men’s program about whether we could put together a team in such a short amount of time. Not only did we accomplish that, but we brought men to campus that are not just swimmers but are great people who will be strong contributors not only in the pool but to the entire campus community,” said Yost.
