The 2016 U.S. Open Swimming Championships concluded on Saturday evening with an awards ceremony to honor the outstanding individuals and teams from the five-day meet.

The women’s high point of the meet award was bestowed on Madisyn Cox, Unattached out of Texas Longhorns, for her finishes:

• 200 free – 1st
• 200 IM – 1st
• 200 breast – 2nd
• 400 IM – 2nd
• 100 breast – 5th

Race Pace Club’s Michael Andrew won the men’s high point of the meet award for his finishes:

• 50 free – 2nd
• 100 breast – 4th
• 100 fly – 4th
• 200 IM – 5th
• 200 breast – 16th
• 200 back – 23rd

The Phillips 66 Performance of the Meet went to Andrew Wilson of Longhorn Aquatics for his 100 meter breaststroke final, in which he went a personal-best time of 59.51 to score 947 FINA points.

The team awards in the women’s meet went to

1. Aggie Swim Club – 355 points
2. Team Australia – 252 points
3. Cardinal Aquatics – 166 points

In the men’s meet, the winning teams were:

1. Team Australia – 302 points
2. Indiana University – 281 points
3. Cardinal Aquatics – 176 points

The combined men’s/women’s team trophy was awarded to Team Australia; Indiana University was runner-up, followed by Cardinal Aquatics in third place.
