“Unbelievable: The Chad le Clos Story” charting Chad le Clos’ journey to a rematch against Michael Phelps at the Rio Games will be aired globally on 24 and 25 July 2016
On 31st July 2012 a young South African’s life changed forever as he beat his childhood hero to achieve his dream of winning Olympic Gold. No one thought he could do it but the 20-year-old pulled off the “unbelievable” and thrust himself and his larger-than-life father, Bert, into the spotlight. In August the eyes of the world will focus on the two greats again as they face off for the first time since London – Chad le Clos versus Michael Phelps at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. With no love lost between the two swimmers, the rematch between Le Clos and Phelps in Rio is one of the most eagerly anticipated moments of the Rio Games.
“UNBELIEVABLE” is the story of Chad and Bert’s road to Rio, a story of extraordinary emotion, incredible commitment and burning desire for Olympic gold. A OneToWatch production, UNBELIEVABLE has been directed by Sir Matthew Pinsent, himself a four time Olympic Gold medallist and BBC broadcaster. More recently the driving force behind the BBC’s Olympic Dreams series, Matthew has captured the highs, lows and everything in between as Chad chases his dream to Rio de Janeiro.
“UNBELIEVABLE: The Chad le Clos Story” will air on SuperSport in Africa, Eurosport in the Europe, and on Chad’s official website on 24 and 25 July 2016.

I love Michael. I love Chad. But in this time Chad wins for sure.
We know Chad is a good boy, but he is an unproven athlete against a proven one, (Don Talbot and Perkins anyone?)
Ok, Chad is a serious threat to Phelps in the 100 and perhaps the 200 fly. For the 100, it is going to come down to the touch. Phelps will trail behind Cseh, Le Clos, and maybe Schooling, then wreck the last 50 and SOMEHOW wins.
