Big Ten Network Picks Up Michigan-Harvard Water Polo Game

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Big Ten Network will televise the Michigan-Harvard water polo game on Saturday, April 9.

The evening game times have been changed to accommodate the broadcast schedule. Michigan and Harvard will now play at6:30 p.m. while Indiana and Princeton will play at 8 p.m.

The morning game times have not changed. Harvard and Indiana will still start the day at 9:30 a.m. with Michigan and Princeton to follow at 11 a.m.

This will be the first time the Big Ten Network has televised a Michigan home water polo game since 2011 when it aired Michigan’s 6-5 loss to No. 4 UCLA. The loss was one of only five for the Wolverines that season as they went 32-5 and just missed out on a trip to the NCAA Championships.

In 2010, the Big Ten Network aired the annual rivalry game between Michigan and Indiana. The game concluded with a 6-4 win for the Wolverines.

This year Michigan is 10-3 and ranked No. 7 in the nation after three weekends of play. All 13 games for the Wolverines have come against ranked teams, including a 3-3 record against top 10 foes.
