Video: Mary Washington M&W Hone Sledding Skills during Winter Storm Jonas

The men’s and women’s swimming teams at University of Mary Washington practiced their sledding -and general snow frolicking- skills after the recent Winter Storm Jonas. Taking advantage of a cancelled meet against Gettysburg on the weekend of January 23-24, the 7-1 (men) and 9-0 (women) Eagles tried their hand at sledding, snowboarding, and snow long jumping.

We observed that they might be better off concentrating on their swimming.

The Eagles have ended their regular season and are now gearing up for the Capital Athletic Conference Championships on February 19-21, 2016 at The Aquatics Center at Michael P. O’Brien Athletics & Recreation Center at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

Senior Stephanie Hallock produced this video, which she edited along with her classmate Hannah Hagy.
