Details have been finalized for Friday’s massive ACC dual meet between North Carolina, Virginia, and North Carolina State. Two separate dual meets scheduled for last weekend were cancelled as a result of the inclement weather relating to Winter Storm Jonas, and they’ve been combined into one tri meet hosted at North Carolina’s Khoury Natatorium this Friday, January 29th.

On the women’s side, this meet will feature the #17 North Carolina Tar Heels, the #10 NC State Wolfpack, and the #4 Virginia Cavaliers (latest women’s power rankings here). The men’s meet includes the #20 North Carolina Tar Heels and the #6 NC State Wolfpack. While the Virginia men aren’t ranked, they have been the conference’s dominant team over the last decade and bring plenty of cachet to this matchup especially in the revival of their swimming mega-rivalry with UNC (latest men’s power rankings here).
In addition to the activities in the pool, prior to the start of the competition North Carolina will honor its seniors in its last home dual meet of their careers, beginning at 3:30 PM.
The Tar Heel senior men include Logan Heck, Matt Kwatyra, Kurt Wohlrab, Ozzie Moyer, Mitch DeForest, Chris Gondek, Ben Colley, Nic Graesser and Sam Lewis.
The Tar Heel senior women’s group includes Maddy Burns, Rachel Canty, Lauren Earp, Annie Goessling, Ally Hardesty, Annie Harrison, Alli Haufler, Emma Nunn, Erin Purdy Kacy Rhyne and Kendall Surhoff.
