Nevada got two swimming wins apiece from Teresa Baerens, Ary Medina and Sita Kusserow to roll to a sixth-straight win on the season.

Baerens was on fire early, going 1:50.90 to take the 200 free with teammate Rebecca Murray just behind (1:52.30). Baerens would go on to win the 100 free (51.45) and Murray took the 500 free (5:03.45).

Medina nearly took home three wins herself. She went 1:04.17 to top Fresno State’s Brooke Rodriguez in the 100 breast and beat Rodriguez again for the 100 IM title in 57.97. The 100 IM is a new event to NCAA competition this year, and Fresno State officially credited Rodriguez’s 1:00.14 as the new Bulldog school record.

Medina almost won the 200 breast as well, taking second behind Yawen Li, 2:19.56 to 2:20.56.

The other double winner for Nevada was Kusserow, who took the 200 fly (2:04.75) and 100 fly (56.05).

Fresno State got two backstroke wins from Lithuanian freshman Ugne Mazutaityte. She won the 100 back in 56.76, then won the 200 back in 1:59.86, shattering the Fresno State school record in the process.

Fresno State also won the 50 free, with Leah Hatayama going 23.82 to top Murray.

Nevada’s other winners were diver Krysta Palmer, who swept both 1-meter and 3-meter, and Josefin Eriksen in the 1000 free (10:40.48).
