William Cadigan of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club will join the University of Louisville next fall after completing virtual high school in the spring of 2016.

The high school senior has qualifying cuts for Winter Nationals in five SCY events, (200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, 200 IM and 400 IM) and his best times are:
- 200-yard freestyle: 1:40.80
- 500-yard freestyle: 4:28.90
- 1000-yard freestyle: 9:15.10
- 1650-yard freestyle: 15:31.29
- 200-yard IM: 1:51.23
- 400-yard IM: 3:53.94
Cadigan’s best 400-yard IM time would have placed him sixth in the C final at the 2015 ACC Championships. The Cardinals have focused their recruiting efforts on mainly mid-distance freestylers and IM’ers so far. Other commitments to the Men’s Swimming and Diving team at the University of Louisville include: Keegan Foulke, Andrej Barna, Graham Barrett, Jarrett Jones and Sam Steele.

Louisville scored a great guy; any coaches’ dream swimmer. Hard working, positive, and an all around gentleman. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a captain in his Senior year.
