Jennifer King, who swims with East Kilbride Swimming Club in Glasgow, Scotland, has made a verbal commitment to the University of Missouri for the 2016-17 season.
King is coming off a strong summer season where she competed at the Scottish National Championships last June in the Commonwealth pool in Tollcross International Swimming Centre. King established seven personal bests at the meet and placed seventh in both the 200m backstroke and 400m IM.

King will join Mizzou’s strong backstroke group that includes sophomore Hannah Stevens, who placed fifth in the 100 back and 12th in the 200 back at the 2015 SEC Championships, and freshmen Kylie Dahlgren, Courtney Evensen, Maddie Gehrke, and Samantha Wilts.
