Colorado Time Systems, a PlayCore company, plans to release the next generation of diving judging equipment later this year and gave USA Diving and other constituents a sneak peak at the USA Diving Synchronized National Championships and the FINA Puerto Rico Grand Prix.
Both FINA and USA Diving now request that all national and international events use wired judging terminals rather than the previous industry standard wireless units. Colorado Time Systems began development and testing immediately in response to the request for new equipment. The wired judging terminals have been a huge success and step forward in diving scoring technology.
“The new terminals offer excellent features that will continue to help USA Diving events advance to the next level,” said Linda Paul, USA Diving President and CEO. “The judges loved having the ability to see all of the dive information and scores without looking at the leaderboard, resulting in a more seamless event ultimately benefitting our fans, officials, athletes, and coaches. We thank Colorado Time Systems for providing the equipment that continues to allow our events to be of the highest quality.”

That’s a stock picture of the Oklahoma City Community College swimming pool. It has the only 5-7-10m towers in Oklahoma. Are there any updates on the status of the facility?
I wonder why they want wired devices???
I for one am hoping to see swimming touch pads (and start system) with wireless technology released soon. Less metal to be corroded and cause failures….
Anything wireless can be hacked. Wired systems defeat hacking.
