Video: Sydney Pickrem Makes First World Championships Team

Sydney Pickrem made her first World Championship team on day two of the Canadian Trials after taking a win over Emily Overholt in the 400m IM final.

There, Pickrem managed to touch in with a time of 4:39.26 to be the only swimmer under 4:40. She took down Overholt by over a second, who managed to grab the silver in 4:40.59.

Pickrem represented Canada last year at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships. This season she signed a letter of intent to swim at Texas A&M for the 2015-2016 season.
