I’ve just read the entire results of that meet and I’m impressed, again, by Marseille swimmers.
Especially Metella. 52.13 in the 100 fly and 48.85 in the 100 free, not tapered, that’s impressive for him. He will peak next year in Rio and a medal in the 100 fly isn’t out of reach in my opinion. His contribution to the 4X100 free and medley relays will be huge too.
A good showing by Agnel too. 49.12/1.47/3.51 I’ve read his post-race comments he looked very pleased by his overall meet, especially the 100 free/ He said he felt better and better throughout the meet.
Lacourt very consistent but it looks like he still have physical pain.
