VIDEO INTERVIEW: Will Licon Gives Shoutout to Josh Prenot After Successful Big 12 Meet

Texas’ Will Licon broke another Texas record this week at the 2015 Big 12 Championships, and his 100 breaststroke on the “C” medley relay was the biggest surprise of the week, according to his head coach Eddie Reese.

What message did he have after the meet when he spoke with SwimSwam’s Mel Stewart?

“Shoutout to my boy Josh Prenot.”

The two will see a lot of each other in a few weeks in Iowa City at the NCAA Championships, as both are expected to final in the 200 breast and 400 IM, and possibly the 200 IM as well.

More important than the shades was that sweet red and black suit he wore. Clearly a shout out to the Chicago Bulls teams of the 90s. Not a coincidence that he broke team records the 2 days that he wore it. Still think he should have lead off the 400 free relay by swimming breast to see if he could get Hansen’s team record as well.
