As an all-around threat Vernon can swim nearly any event and has the ability to change around her three events at conference and nationals.

University of Georgia

2013-2014
Vernon earned an Honorable Mention All-American nod in the 400 IM after finishing ninth at the NCAA Championships. She also swam the 200 IM and backstroke, and the Bulldogs won their second straight national title. She was also named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2014-2015
In her final collegiate season Vernon has posted an NCAA ‘B’ cut in the 400 and 200 IM.
