Day 3 of the U.S. Winter Junior Nationals saw three different National Age Group records go down, along with multiple meet records.
We’ve got race videos from all of the A finals below, plus video of the fastest-seeded heat of the 4×50 free relays. In the girls relay, Canyons sprinter Abbey Weitzeil led off in 21.49 to break the 17-18 NAG record held by Simone Manuel. That race video can be found above, as well as at the bottom of this list.
Other NAGs: Ryan Hoffer broke the 15-16 mark in the 100 fly, one of three wins for him on the day (the Scottsdale high schooler also won the 100 back and 4×50 free relay). In the girls 100 fly, Eva Merrell of Aquazot broke the 13-14 NAG record with a 53.19 while taking second overall.
