Is this Owl Swimming Breaststroke or Butterfly?

Many thanks to Stephanie Entwistle for sending SwimSwam this video of  a Great Horned Owl swimming!

She wrote:

“The poster of this YouTube video lists it as being breaststroke, but I’d say that it’s a pretty good fly instead. Who knew that other species followed standard stroke technique, too? Haha! Thought your readers might enjoy this.”

They will, Stephanie. Thanks!

If you have a funny, interesting, odd and/or beautiful swimming video you’ve produced or found on the web, please share with us.

Anyone know who’s recruiting him? He’s got good open water potential but he really needs some underwater work if he’s going to be any good at all in short course…
