FINA Congress to Consider Olympic Standards, Junior Short Course World Records

Before the 2014 World Short Course Championships are held in Doha, Qatar from December 3rd-7th, FINA will gather for its “extraordinary congress” where they will discuss rules tables.

Vaguely – the congress will stick to the agenda listed below. However, in addition, there will be a few very important announcements coming out of the day.

That includes the announcement of the 2014 FINA World Athletes of the Year across its 6 disciplines, plus the approval Olympic Qualifying Standards.

The IOC has already announced the Olympic qualifying procedure, but have yet to name the times that will affiliate to that procedure.
