Interview: Para Pan Pac 50 Free S9 Gold Medalist Michelle Konkoly of Team USA

Michelle Konkoly (S9-USA) won her first gold medal as a member of the United States team when she won the women’s 50m free S9 in 29.40 ahead of  teammates Hannah Aspden and Lizzi Smith.

Mallory Weggemann spent some time with Konkoly at the conclusion of Day One at the Pan Pacific Para Swimming Championships, talking about what it feels like to represent Team USA at Konkoly’s first international competition. The Georgetown senior also talked about what she’s got coming up in the rest of the meet.
