A total of 95 NCAA Division 1 Men’s Swimming and Diving earned the College Swim Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team Honors by earning an average GPA of 3.0 or better. The Harvard Crimson, coached by Kevin Tyrrell, had the highest GPA among the 95 with 3.59.
Nine of the top ten point scoring teams at the NCAA Championships earned the honor as well, including the National Champion Texas Longhorns. The 6th place Alabama Crimson had the highest GPA of any team that placed in the top ten at NCAAs with 3.44. The list of the top ten is as follows:

- Florida Gators, 3rd Place at NCAAs (334 pts), 3.04 GPA
