The most pressure-packed meet on Earth is set to commence in less than a month’s time, as the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials will kick off on June 15 and run through the 23rd from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
As the meet approaches, we’ll be previewing all 28 events in which swimmers will be vying for Paris qualification, with the top two finishers in each event—provided they hit the Olympic ‘A’ cut and roster limits—qualifying for the Olympics and up to the top six in the 100 and 200 free earning a roster spot for relay purposes.

SwimSwam’s projected Men’s roster has exactly 26 swimmers…. we’re going to be watching out for that roster cap all meet long
If the Trials go exactly as predicted here, there would be 13 swimmers on the roster in Relay-Only positions… and the cap is 12, right? Possible we see another Ryan Held Tokyo situation?
If KD drops the 50 free (likely imo) & either Simone or Abbey grabs a 50 spot, all other things being equal with these predictions, then that would bring the overall team total down to 12.

IIRC, in 2000 a high schooler named Natalie Coughlin made news by qualifying for Olympic Trials in every event. Has anyone tried to do that since? Anyone know what the closest someone has come?
Bella Sims got 11 for this year. There is probably someone with more but with the 1500 getting added in 2020/1 it’s harder to get all.
when will heat sheets/ psych sheets be available? line up please USA swimming?
The entry window closed June 4th but there is also a late entry deadline of June 10th. Not sure if they’ll post something this week and then update it or if they’ll wait until after the 10th.
Not sure if anyone else has commented this already but Douglass has said she will only swim 3 events – 100 free, 2IM, 2 Breast at trials.
