2024 Cal Baptist University Swim Camps – Sign Up Today
Open to all boys and girls age 8-18. This camp is for swimmers who can at least swim the length of the pool freestyle and make an attempt to side breath, they should also be able to attempt swimming on their back across the pool.
The Beginning Group will learn focus on freestyle and backstroke along with daily camp games and activities.
The Intermediate Group is for those proficient in 2-4 of the competitive strokes, this group will work on all 4 strokes. Daily Stroke of the Day Video tape analysis
The Advanced Group is for competitive swimmers proficient in all 4 strokes with club experience and will work on higher level skills, starts, turns, finishes, pacing and training modes. Daily Stroke of the Day Video tape analysis

Jim Bossert
Head Swim Coach
Bossert has spent most of the last decade coaching various levels of swimming across the nation. He has held assistant coaching positions at Alabama and Fresno State and a four-year stint with WAC rival Wyoming. He has spent the previous year coaching club, high school, and junior college teams in Central California.
Bossert swam collegiality at NCAA Division III Grove City College in Grove City, PA, from 2011-2015 and at NCAA Division II California Baptist University for the 2015-2016 season. He completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grove City in May 2015 and earned his master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science in May 2016 from CBU.
Kevin Callister
Dir. of Aquatics & Age Group Programs/Assistant Swim Coach
Kevin Callister joined California Baptist University as the Aquatics Director and Assistant Swim Coach in January 2019.
Prior to returning to CBU, Callister worked for the city of Moreno Valley in the Community Services Department for 12 years. Most recently, he served as Moreno Valley’s Community Services Supervisor and oversaw the daily aspects of city-wide special events, sports programming, facility reservations, senior services, recreation services as well as customer service representatives. His other previous experience includes operating a local aquatic center in his home town, coaching both club and high school water polo and swim teams and officiating water polo.
Lisa Siregar
Assistant Swim Coach
An internationally respected swimming coach, Lisa Siregar was named California Baptist University assistant coach for Rick Rowland with CBU swimming in 2003.
She has also served as the National Team coach for her native Indonesia since 1985 and has led the team to such events as the 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympics, as well as the World Games, University Games and Asian Games.
Siregar serves as the Secretary General for the Asian Swimming Federation, and is a Vice President/Chairman of Swimming Development for Indonesia.
