2023 NCAA DIVISION I MEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS

The story of the 2023 Men’s NCAA Championships was three-fold: the dominance of Leon Marchand, the incredible run of records in the relays, and the Cal Golden Bears earning a second consecutive team title.

Marchand set new all-time records in the 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM, while the fastest times ever were recorded in all five relays.

In the team race, things were competitive at the top before Cal ultimately pull away for the win, while Marchand’s efforts helped give Arizona State its highest finish ever in second, and Texas fended off Indiana, NC State and Florida to place third.
