There will be no scratches from either the semi-finals or the finals of the events to be swum in the evening session on Day Two of the 2019 FINA World Junior Championships. There are, however, a couple of tough doubles. Australia’s Mollie O’Callaghan is swimming in both the final of the 100 back and the semi-finals of the 100 free. She is third seed in the former with 1:00.29 and fourth in the latter with 55.17. USA’s Gianluca Urlando is competing in the 200 free final, where he is the top seed with 1:47.91, and the semi-finals of the 100 fly where he is sixth with 52.59. Urlando’s teammate Carson Foster is also doubling up, with the 200 IM where he is the number one seed with 1:59.30 and the 200 free in which he is seeded second with 1:48.11, just .20 behind Urlando.
