2016 YMCA Long Course Nationals Video-Produced by Hickory Swimming

Hickory Foundation YMCA of Hickory, North Carolina (now known as YMCA Seahorse Swim Team) created this video to share their experience during the YMCA National Championships. The team out of North Carolina also were the champions on the women’s side.

Emmaline Peterson produced the video and she also was the winner of the 1500 by 20 seconds, and she defended her championship title from last years meet.

SwimSwam posts these videos to encourage all swimmers (club, college and prospective student-athetles) to continue to enjoy the sport. It is also a way to share experiences with readers who otherwise may not get to see inside these teams. These videos are a great opportunity for people to see what happens on training trips, travel meets, national championships or even just day to day events on teams. These teams work hard and are excited to share with everyone not just the results we post, but also their memories and swimming experiences.

Hickory women were the YMCA National champions, and the men were 17th. To find all of the result from the meet you can visit here.
