Day 4 stats/notes:
- It’s clear at this point; almost everyone expected more from the top talent at Trials. At least 89% of entrants had faster predictions than the final times in 10 of 11 spots
- Only two contestants were “right on” in an event tonight: Amunn in 2nd place of the women’s 200 IM, and em18 on Katie Ledecky’s winning 200 free time
- Nobody was within 0.2 seconds on ANY of the three 200 fly times. That’s easily the largest event spread we’ve seen so far.
