Manaudou walked away from the European Championships with four gold, three individual and one relay. He took gold in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, tied Belarusian Yauhen Tsurkin for the win in the 50 butterfly and was part of the French team that won the 4 x 100 freestyle relay.

Deserved award.
Now the question is: can he win a world or olympic gold medal over 100 meters in long course in the next 2 years?
I’ve some doubts right now but we’ll see.
The question is:Can he deliver two top times in 50 and 100 free in the same champs? In recent years, all guys who tried failed(Magnussen,Cielo,Adrian…).It will be tough to do under 21.3 and 47mid in the same Championship.
I would also like to award him the slightly less prestigious though no less coveted Hottest Swimmer Alive distinction.
No doubt the Manaudou family has some good genes in not only looks but also athletic ability.
